FormsThe Pro Bono Project's Homeless Outreach Program provides legal services to homeless people who would have to spend the night in a shelter, in a place not meant for human habitation or who does not have their own place of residence, but whose income is below the federal poverty guidelines. The Pro Bono Project staffs the clinics with volunteer attorneys or paralegals (they do not give legal advice) to provide legal advice, consultation, brief service and possible representation in or out of court. Cases received at The Pro Bono Project are assigned to a volunteer attorney to resolve in and/or out of court. If the volunteer attorney doesn't know how to handle a particular issue, Ellen Artopoeus, The Pro Bono Project's staff attorney, can answer questions, assist in court, or provide forms.
