New Orleans Legal Assistance Corporation: NOLAC is a nonprofit law firm founded in 1967 to provide free legal assistance to low-income persons in civil cases. Our mission is to serve individuals and families who, without legal assistance, will lose a critical human need – food, shelter, income, medical care, personal safety or parental care.

Pro Bono Net (Louisiana): Probono.net is a unique experiment in the use of information technology and a unique collaboration among the various parts of the public interest legal community. The website provides links to online resources for volunteer lawyers who are seeking pro bono opportunities.

Law Help: A web site for low-income Louisiana residents that helps you find free legal services, a court, or social services. The site also gives answers to commonly-asked questions about legal problems and helps link users to other useful web sites.

Hurricane Law: A joint project of the Loyola Law Clinic and the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana to bring legal services and information to victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

ABA Net
Plans for the ABA/NLADA 2004 Equal Justice Conference are well underway. The conference is set for April 15-17, in Atlanta. It will include over 75 workshops and seminars on topics covering pro bono, legal services management, innovations in delivery, resource development and technology.
