For nearly four decades, the Justice For All Ball has been one of the premier social events in the legal community, bringing together lawyers, judges, business leaders, and supporters for an evening of fine food, spirits, and live music — all in support of access to justice.

In 2026, The Pro Bono Project proudly celebrates its 40th Anniversary: forty years of connecting low-income and underserved individuals with free civil legal services through the power of pro bono. The Justice For All Ball serves as our signature fundraiser and a celebration of the volunteers, supporters, and community partners who make this work possible.

Through our network of volunteer attorneys, thousands of children, families, veterans, seniors, and working individuals receive critical civil legal assistance each year. Proceeds from the Justice For All Ball directly support these efforts and help ensure that vulnerable members of our community continue to have access to justice.

The Pro Bono Project is honored to announce that Dan Falstad , Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Entergy, will serve as the 2026 Justice For All Ball Honorary Chair. A respected leader in both the legal and business communities, Dan has demonstrated a strong commitment to civic engagement and public service throughout his career. His leadership and support make him an ideal honorary chair as we celebrate this important milestone year.

Join us for the 38th Annual Justice For All Ball on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at The MISI as we celebrate forty years of justice and service. Black Tie Optional attire is requested. A Patron Party at The MISI will precede the gala at 6:30 p.m.

The evening will feature cuisine from local restaurants, cocktails, live music by Royal Essence, and a memorable celebration of The Pro Bono Project’s 40-year legacy of service.

Professionalism CLE in Covington on August 14th

Join The Pro Bono Project for a free one-hour professionalism CLE, "Fact vs. Fiction: Dispelling Myths about Pro Bono Engagement," on Friday, August 14, from 12:00–1:00 p.m. (lunch begins at 11:30 a.m.) at the St. Tammany Parish Registrar of Voters Office in Covington.

Judge Scott Gardner, Kathleen M. Legendre, and Emily French will lead an engaging discussion that challenges common misconceptions about pro bono service, explores the professional and personal benefits of volunteering, and highlights meaningful opportunities to make a difference in our community. Whether you're new to pro bono or looking to become more involved, this free CLE is a great opportunity to earn professionalism credit while learning how your skills can help expand access to justice.

NOBA Cornhole Classic on 7/9

The Young Lawyers Section of the New Orleans Bar Association will host the NOBA Cornhole Classic, benefiting The Pro Bono Project on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Urban South. Teams from area law firms and judicial chambers are invited to compete in a bracket-style cornhole tournament to see who will be crowned the Cornhole Classic Champion. It’ll be a TOSS up!

Spectators are highly encouraged, so come out and see who has this trophy in the *bags*. General admission for the public is $55 per person at the door. Ticket includes open bar and food at the tournament. Once the tournament concludes, free play will be available to spectators.

Northshore Legal Clinics

PBP Expands Its Northshore Legal Clinics

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the East St. Tammany Legal Resource Desk . On the second Thursday of every month, from 9 a.m. - 12 noon, PBP volunteers and staff will be on hand in Slidell to provide information and assistance with civil legal matters. The legal desk is hosted by East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity at 360 Robert Blvd in Slidell.

Our Slidell Clinic joins our efforts in Bogalusa. The Pro Bono Project has regular office hours in Bogalusa at the ADAPT office , from 9:00am to 1:00pm, every first and third Thursday of the month. If you're in Washington Parish, come and see us at 216 Memphis Street in Bogalusa.
